Fallout 3
Fallout 3 is a 2008 action role-playing game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The third major installment in the Fallout series. The setting of Fallout 3 is a post-apocalyptic, open world environment based in the ruins of Washington, D.C., and much of the countryside surrounding it, referred to as the Capital Wasteland. The origin of this new reality comes from an alternate timeline caused by atomic age technology which left our world doomed following a global nuclear war in 2077 (otherwise known as the Great War). You assume control of an inhabitant of Vault 101, one of several underground shelters that were created prior to the Great War as safe havens containing 1,000 people each. But when your father abruptly disappears from the vault your curiosity takes you out to uncover what happened while facing obstacles from the Enclave – remnants of what former U.S. Government near complete domination over their own resources at any cost. As events unfold you find yourself determined to finish what he started all those years ago in 2277 – 36 years after Fallout 2.
